Who is Prajwal?
My name is Prajwal K. M, and I am an engineering student, writer, poet, and youth leader from Sakleshpur, Karnataka. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Government Engineering College, Mosalehosalli, Hassan, and I am expected to graduate in 2026.
Beyond academics, I carry a deep passion for public service, leadership, nation-building and Kannada literature. My long-term aspiration is to appear for the Civil Services Examination and serve the nation as an Indian Foreign Service officer, contributing to diplomacy, youth empowerment, and social transformation.
I am actively involved in creative writing, poetry, storytelling and cultural advocacy. My Kannada column “Nudi_Nidhi” has reached a wide readership across Karnataka, and my writings reflect everyday human experiences with emotional depth, simplicity, and cultural richness. From an early age, I have been deeply rooted in Kannada, securing 125/125 in SSLC Kannada and 99/100 in PUC Kannada, which laid a strong foundation for my literary journey.
As a youth leader, I had the opportunity to serve as President of the Rotaract Club at GECM, Director and Technical Head of the Electronova Club and Organizing Secretary of Sirigannada Vedike, through which I have coordinated and led more than 50 youth, cultural, and educational programs. I am also associated with Vishvam Foundation, where I teach Kannada to NRI students through online classes.
I am an Akashvani artist, event host and public speaker, having participated in various radio programs, conferences and cultural platforms. Academically, I have worked on projects such as a Navigation System for the Visually Impaired and Sentiment Analysis using NLP, reflecting my interest in applying technology for social good.
With recognition at state, district, and national platforms, and with my upcoming literary work “Ondu Paadada Kanasu,” I continue to strive toward blending literature, leadership, technology and public service to contribute meaningfully to society.
